Sir George Chetwynd, 1st Bt.1 
He was appointed Knight on 19 January 1787.3 He was Clerk to the Privy Council.4 He was created 1st Baronet Chetwynd, of Brocton Hall, co. Stafford [Great Britain] on 1 May 1795.4 On 17 April 1798 he inherited the estate of Grendon Hall, Warwickshire.3
