     Michael Francis Knighton Seymour was born in 1841.2 He was the son of Admiral Sir Michael Seymour and Dora Knighton.2,3 He married Elizabeth Georgina Frederica Kennedy, daughter of Captain William Henry Kennedy and Georgina Paget, on 7 November 1863.1 He died in 1909.1

Admiral Sir Michael Seymour1

     Admiral Sir Michael Seymour was born on 3 December 1802.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Michael Seymour, 1st Bt. and Jane Hawker.1,2 He married Dora Knighton, daughter of Sir William Knighton, 1st Bt. and Dorothea Hawker, on 22 June 1829.3 He died on 23 February 1887 at age 84.1
     He was Commander-in-Chief of the East Indies Station and Canton.3 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1855.3 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Portsmouth.3 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1859.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Devonport between 1859 and 1863.3
