     Sir William Knighton, 1st Bt. was born in 1776 at Beer Ferris, Devon, England.² He married Dorothea Hawker, daughter of Captain James Hawker and Dorothea Nicholls, on 2 August 1800 at Plymouth, Devon, England.² He died on 11 October 1836 at Stratford Place, London, England.²
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.)¹ He was created 1st Baronet Knighton [U.K.] on 1 January 1813. He was Private Secretary to HM King George IV between 1822 and 1830.²

     Dora Knighton was born in 1804.² She was the daughter of Sir William Knighton, 1st Bt. and Dorothea Hawker.^3,4 She married Admiral Sir Michael Seymour, son of Admiral Sir Michael Seymour, 1st Bt. and Jane Hawker, on 22 June 1829.¹ She died in 1875.¹
     From 22 June 1829, her married name became Seymour.

     Robert Charles Dallas was born in 1754 at Kingston, Jamaica^G.¹ He was the son of Robert Dallas and Sarah Elizabeth Cormack.¹ He married Sarah Harding, daughter of Thomas Harding.¹ He died on 20 November 1824 at Sainte-Adresse, Normandy, France^G.¹ He was buried at Havre, France^G.¹

     William Arthur Seymour was born in 1864.¹ He was the son of Michael Francis Knighton Seymour and Elizabeth Georgina Frederica Kennedy.² He married Florence Beatrice Bilton, daughter of John George Bilton, in 1887.¹ He died on 9 January 1894.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Warwickshire Regiment.¹

     Florence Beatrice Bilton was the daughter of John George Bilton.² She married William Arthur Seymour, son of Michael Francis Knighton Seymour and Elizabeth Georgina Frederica Kennedy, in 1887.¹ She died in 1910.¹
     From 1887, her married name became Seymour.
