     William Beardmore, 1st and last Baron Invernairn was born on 16 October 1856.¹ He was the son of William Beardmore.² He married Elspeth Stiven Tullis, daughter of David Tullis, on 11 June 1902.¹ He died on 9 April 1936 at age 79, without issue.^1,3
     He was educated at High School, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.² He was educated at Ayr Academy, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.² He was educated at School of Mines, South Kensington, London, England^G.² He was registered as a Member, Institute of Civil Engineers (M.Inst.C.E.)² He was chairman and managing director of William Beardmore and Company Ltd.² He was created 1st Baronet Beardmore [U.K.] on 22 January 1914.² He was president of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1917.² He was created 1st Baron Invernairn, of Strathnairn, co. Inverness [U.K.] on 15 January 1921.² He supported Antarctic exploration, and so Shackleton named the Beardmore Glacier after him.² He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁴
      On his death, his title became extinct.²

     Alicia Rachel Thynne was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Lord Henry Frederick Thynne and Lady Ulrica Frederica Jane St. Maur.¹ She died on 16 August 1938.¹

     Joshua David Mason was the son of Richard Mason.¹ He married Xenia Laura Thynne, daughter of Lord Valentine Charles Thynne and Veronica Ann Jackson, in 1989.¹ He died in 1991.¹

     Susanne Caroline Alder is the daughter of Edgar Alder.¹ She married, firstly, Christopher Hodgson Moore before 1971.¹ She married, secondly, Lord Valentine Charles Thynne, son of Henry Frederick Thynne, 6th Marquess of Bath and Hon. Daphne Winifred Louise Vivian, in 1971.¹ She and Lord Valentine Charles Thynne were divorced in 1976.¹
     From before 1971, her married name became Moore.¹ From 1971, her married name became Thynne.¹

     Christopher Hodgson Moore married Susanne Caroline Alder, daughter of Edgar Alder, before 1971.¹

     Liese Maria Dennis was the daughter of Kenneth William Dennis.¹ She married, firstly, Karl Martin Weschke before 1967.¹ She and Karl Martin Weschke were divorced.² She married, secondly, Lord Valentine Charles Thynne, son of Henry Frederick Thynne, 6th Marquess of Bath and Hon. Daphne Winifred Louise Vivian, on 17 August 1977 at The Old Meeting House, Horningsham, Wiltshire, England^G.^1,2 She died in September 2005 at Bristol, England^G, by committing suicide.²
     She was also known as Liese Deniz.² She was a fashion model.² From before 1967, her married name became Weschke.¹ From 17 August 1977, her married name became Thynne.¹ She lived in 1999 at 16 Bedford Street, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Kenneth William Dennis lived at Bristol, England^G.¹

     Karl Martin Weschke was born on 7 June 1925.² He married Liese Maria Dennis, daughter of Kenneth William Dennis, before 1967.¹ He and Liese Maria Dennis were divorced.² He died on 20 February 2005 at age 79.²
