     She gained the title of Prinzessin Marie zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg.2 She was the Abbess at Itzehoe, GermanyG.

     Janet Kennedy was the daughter of John Kennedy, 2nd Lord Kennedy and Lady Elizabeth Gordon.1 She married, firstly, Archibald Douglas, 5th Earl of Angus, son of George Douglas, 4th Earl of Angus and Isabel Sibbald, circa 1498.1 She married, secondly, Sir Alexander Gordon of Kenmure and Lochinvar, younger.1 She married, thirdly, Sir John Ramsay, 1st and last Lord Bothwell, son of John Ramsay of Courston and Janet Napier, circa 6 November 1505.2 She and Sir John Ramsay, 1st and last Lord Bothwell were divorced before 1508.2 She died after December 1543.3
     From circa 1498, her married name became Douglas.1 Although she was married to Archibald, Earl of Angus, nowhere is she refered to as the Countess of Angus. She and James IV Stewart, King of Scotland were associated circa 1499.4 Her marriage to Archibald Douglas, 5th Earl of Angus was annulled circa 1499.1 Her married name became Gordon.1 From circa 6 November 1505, her married name became Ramsay.2 In 1531 she founded a prebend in the collegiate church of St. Mary-in-the-Fields, near Edinburgh.1
