She was the daughter of Karl I Herzog von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel and Philippine Charlotte Prinzessin von Preußen.1 She married Friedrich Markgraf von Brandenburg-Bayreuth, son of Georg Friedrich Karl Markgraf von Brandenburg-Bayreuth, on 18 September 1759.3 She was also reported to have been married on 20 September 1759. She died on 22 December 1817 at age 80.3
     She gained the title of Herzogin von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel.3
