Alice Carr Glyn.2 He married, firstly, Agnes Lee Ollerhead, daughter of Thomas James Ollerhead, on 19 April 1906.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Mary Shiffner, daughter of George Bridger Shiffner and Georgiana Mary Scarlett, on 3 August 1938.1 He died on 28 June 1949 at age 74.1
     He was with the Sudan Civil Service.1 He was awarded the Order of the Nile 4th Class.1 He was awarded the Order of the Osmanieh 4th Class.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1

     George Bridger Shiffner was born on 2 December 1866.2 He was the son of Reverend Sir George Croxton Shiffner, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Greenall.2 He married Georgiana Mary Scarlett, daughter of Lt.-Col. William James Scarlett and Henrietta Catherine Low, on 12 September 1893.2 He died on 31 March 1949 at age 82.2
     He was educated at Radley College, Radley, Oxfordshire, England.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.2 He was Commander of the Doncaster Division, West Riding Yorkshire Special Constabulary between 1915 and 1937.2 He was awarded the Special Constabulary Medal with two bars.2 He was awarded the Silver Jubilee Medal in 1935.2 He lived at Downlands, Ringmer, Sussex, EnglandG.
