     Lt.-Col. Gerald Hugh Nicholson was born on 24 April 1905.¹ He is the son of Reginald Nicholson and Lady Laura Margaret Waldegrave.¹ He married Margaret Evelyn Hanbury, daughter of Nigel Hanbury and Evelyn Marion Arbuthnot, on 21 October 1930.¹ He died on 11 May 1970 at age 65.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He lived at The Round House, Bayford, Hertfordshire, England.¹

     Margaret Evelyn Hanbury is the daughter of Nigel Hanbury and Evelyn Marion Arbuthnot.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Gerald Hugh Nicholson, son of Reginald Nicholson and Lady Laura Margaret Waldegrave, on 21 October 1930.²
     Her married name became Nicholson.

     Mary Joan Nicholson was born on 23 November 1931.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Gerald Hugh Nicholson and Margaret Evelyn Hanbury.¹

     Jean Fenella Nicholson was born on 25 May 1934.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Gerald Hugh Nicholson and Margaret Evelyn Hanbury.¹ She married Major Douglas Christopher Prior, son of C. L. Prior, on 15 July 1961.¹
     From 15 July 1961, her married name became Prior.

     David John Stafford Nicholson was born on 15 January 1907.¹ He was the son of Reginald Nicholson and Lady Laura Margaret Waldegrave.¹ He married Rosemary Christian Matthews, daughter of Lt.-Col. Frank Melvin Matthews, on 18 April 1950.¹ He died on 28 December 1965 at age 58.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1932 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Hampshire Regiment.¹

     Colonel William Reginald Nicholson was born on 29 December 1909.¹ He is the son of Reginald Nicholson and Lady Laura Margaret Waldegrave.¹ He married Diana Mary Nelson, daughter of Major Charles Nelson and Margaret Amelia Schuster, on 25 January 1939.¹ He died on 5 November 1981 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was Colonel of the 2nd Lothian and Border Horse and 16th/5th Lancers.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹
