Archibald Alexander John Stanley Acheson, 6th Earl of Gosford was born on 14 January 1911 at London, EnglandG.3 He was the son of Archibald Charles Montagu Brabazon Acheson, 5th Earl of Gosford and Caroline Mildred Carter.1 He married, firstly, Francesca Augusta Maria Cagiati, daughter of Francesco Cagiati, on 14 December 1935.1 He and Francesca Augusta Maria Cagiati were divorced in 1960.1 He married, secondly, Cynthia Margaret West, daughter of Captain Henry Cave West, on 21 September 1960.1 He died on 17 February 1966 at age 55.1
