John Wright1 
John Wright was born on 7 August 1758.2 He was the son of John Wright and Ann Sherbrooke.2 He married Elizabeth Beresford, daughter of Francis Marcus Beresford and Fanny Reynolds, on 2 April 1791 at Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England.3 He died on 21 April 1840 at age 81.2
He was prinicpal proprietor of the Butterley Works.4 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.4 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Nottinghamshire.4 He lived at Lenton Hall, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Langar Hall, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.4 He had six other daughters.4
