Colonel George Klein Hayward Coussmaker was born on 21 September 1759.3 He was the son of Evert George Coussmaker and Mary Heyward.3 He married Hon. Catherine Southwell, daughter of Edward Southwell, 20th Lord Clifford and Sophia Campbell, on 13 November 1790.4 He died on 11 July 1801 at age 41.4
He gained the rank of Colonel in the 1st Guards.1
