     Constance Adeline Palmer was the daughter of Hon. James David Palmer.¹ She married Colonel William Kaye Legge, son of Hon. Charles Gounter Legge and Mary Garnier, on 9 June 1902.¹ She died on 1 January 1964.¹
     Her married name became Legge.

     Hon. James David Palmer held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Orange Free State]¹ He lived at Bloemfontein, Orange Free State, South Africa^G.¹

     Paul Keppel Legge was born on 25 January 1906.¹ He was the son of Colonel William Kaye Legge and Constance Adeline Palmer.¹ He married, firstly, Olga Robinson, daughter of Enoch Cobbcroft Robinson and Jemima Louisa Quintal, before 1948.² He married, secondly, Nellie Ruth Dewey, daughter of Percy Edwin Dewey, on 18 November 1948.¹ He died on 8 April 1969 at age 63.³
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He was with the Australian Commonwealth Service.¹

     Nellie Ruth Dewey is the daughter of Percy Edwin Dewey.¹ She married Paul Keppel Legge, son of Colonel William Kaye Legge and Constance Adeline Palmer, on 18 November 1948.¹
     Her married name became Legge.

     Percy Edwin Dewey lived at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     Charles James Legge was born on 16 August 1908.¹ He was the son of Colonel William Kaye Legge and Constance Adeline Palmer.¹ He died in 1911.¹

     W/Cdr. Peter Legge was born on 28 January 1910.¹ He was the son of Colonel William Kaye Legge and Constance Adeline Palmer.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Claire Dwyer, daughter of William Dwyer, on 14 December 1937.¹ He and Mary Claire Dwyer were divorced in 1953.¹ He married, secondly, Violet Bertha Wallace, daughter of George Wallace, on 31 December 1955.¹ He died in March 2000 at age 90 at Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, England.²
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice, and was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Mary Claire Dwyer is the daughter of William Dwyer.¹ She married W/Cdr. Peter Legge, son of Colonel William Kaye Legge and Constance Adeline Palmer, on 14 December 1937.¹ She and W/Cdr. Peter Legge were divorced in 1953.¹
     Her married name became Legge.

     William Dwyer died before 1963.
     He lived at Elmville, Rushbrooke, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Michael William Legge was born on 15 November 1938.¹ He is the son of W/Cdr. Peter Legge and Mary Claire Dwyer.¹ He married Kim Hoang in 1965.¹
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹
