     He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force.¹

     Barbara Carter is the daughter of Howard Carter.¹ She married F/O Frederick James Croft, son of Sir Hugh Matthew Fiennes Croft, 12th Bt. and Lucy Isabel Taylor, on 25 February 1943.¹
     Her married name became Croft. She lived in 2003 at Lugwardine, Barraba, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     Richard Marsh Croft was born on 6 August 1910.¹ He was the son of Sir Hugh Matthew Fiennes Croft, 12th Bt. and Lucy Isabel Taylor.¹ He married Mary Ewing, daughter of F. Ewing, in April 1941.¹

     Mary Ewing is the daughter of F. Ewing.¹ She married Richard Marsh Croft, son of Sir Hugh Matthew Fiennes Croft, 12th Bt. and Lucy Isabel Taylor, in April 1941.¹
     Her married name became Croft.

     F/O Archer John Croft was born on 31 August 1913.¹ He was the son of Sir Hugh Matthew Fiennes Croft, 12th Bt. and Lucy Isabel Taylor.¹ He married Marcie Issell Heathfield Eliott, daughter of Clifton Hazelwood Eliott and Mary Isabel Wilson, on 13 February 1939.¹ He died in 1971.¹

     Marcie Issell Heathfield Eliott was born on 14 October 1917.² She was the daughter of Clifton Hazelwood Eliott and Mary Isabel Wilson.^1,2 She married F/O Archer John Croft, son of Sir Hugh Matthew Fiennes Croft, 12th Bt. and Lucy Isabel Taylor, on 13 February 1939.¹ She died in 1976.²
     Her married name became Croft.
