     Maj.-Gen. Sir Herbert Napier Bunbury was born on 15 February 1851.1 He was the son of Captain Richard Hanmer Bunbury and Sarah Susanna Sconce.1 He married Mary Louisa Campbell, daughter of Donald Patrick Campbell, on 8 August 1878.1 He died on 18 January 1922 at age 70.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1898 and 1900.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.1 He was Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1911.1

     Mary Louisa Campbell was born before 1863. She was the daughter of Donald Patrick Campbell.1 She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Herbert Napier Bunbury, son of Captain Richard Hanmer Bunbury and Sarah Susanna Sconce, on 8 August 1878.1 She died on 13 October 1938.1
     Her married name became Bunbury.

     Lt.-Col. Richard Seymour Bunbury was born on 19 September 1880.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Herbert Napier Bunbury and Mary Louisa Campbell.1 He married Edith Beatrice Crauford Kennedy, daughter of Colonel Walter Crauford Kennedy and Mary Beatrice Close, on 23 January 1928.1 He died on 3 September 1955 at age 74, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.1 He was Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1

     Colonel Walter Crauford Kennedy was born circa 1848 at Devon, England.2 He was the son of Colonel Walter Craufurd Kennedy and Elizabeth Mary Scott.2 He married, firstly, Augusta Ann Fordyce, daughter of Reverend John Fordyce, on 12 October 1876 at Simla, Bengal, India.2 He married, secondly, Mary Beatrice Close, daughter of Major Frederick Close and Eliza Crispigney Williams, in 1888 at Woolwich, Kent, England.3
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Scots.1
