     Major Denis Erskine Ward was born on 8 October 1912.¹ He was the son of Major George Louis Steuart Ward and Alice Muriel Harrison.¹ He married Kathleen Beryl Kyle Susan Cotter, daughter of Major Raymond Kyle Cotter and Beryl Jessica Macdonald Wintle, on 20 April 1942.¹ He died on 27 October 1942 at age 30 at El Alamein, Egypt^G, killed in action.¹ He died on 27 October 1942 at age 30, killed in action.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Tank Regiment.¹ He fought in the Battle of El Alamein in October 1942.

     Ingrid Elizabeth Zimmerlund is the daughter of Rudolf Zimmerlund.¹ She married Thorlac Francis Samuel Turville-Petre, son of Edward Oswald Gabriel Turville-Petre and Joan Elizabeth Blomfield, on 8 July 1967.¹
     From 8 July 1967, her married name became Turville-Petre.¹

     Francis Gustaf Turville-Petre was born on 18 April 1971.¹ He is the son of Thorlac Francis Samuel Turville-Petre and Ingrid Elizabeth Zimmerlund.¹

     Crispin Gabriel Turville-Petre was born on 25 October 1974.¹ He is the son of Thorlac Francis Samuel Turville-Petre and Ingrid Elizabeth Zimmerlund.¹

     Kathleen Beryl Kyle Susan Cotter was born on 14 March 1915.² She is the daughter of Major Raymond Kyle Cotter and Beryl Jessica Macdonald Wintle.^1,3 She married, firstly, Reginald Barnes Elwin on 19 December 1933.² She and Reginald Barnes Elwin were divorced in 1942.² She married, secondly, Major Denis Erskine Ward, son of Major George Louis Steuart Ward and Alice Muriel Harrison, on 20 April 1942.¹ She married, thirdly, Reginald Barnes Elwin on 5 July 1946.¹ She married, fourthly, Stanley Chapman in 1978.²
     Kathleen Beryl Kyle Susan Cotter usually went by her middle name of Susan.¹ From 19 December 1933, her married name became Elwin. From 20 April 1942, her married name became Ward.¹ From 5 July 1946, her married name became Elwin.¹ From 1978, her married name became Chapman.¹ She lived in 1999 at 87 Dartford Road, Sevenoaks, Kent, England^G.¹ She lived in 2003 at 87 Dartford Road, Sevenoaks, Kent, England^G.²

     Sir Joseph Henry Bernard Doughty-Tichborne, 13th Bt. was born on 18 January 1890. He was the son of Sir Henry Alfred Joseph Doughty-Tichborne, 12th Bt. and Mary Gwendoline Petre. He married Denise Dorothy Marie Emilie Greville, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Algernon Fulke Charles Ferdinand Stephen Greville and Eileen Mary McDonnell, on 25 June 1913.¹ He died on 23 October 1930 at age 40.
     He gained the title of 13th Baronet Tichborne.

     Denise Dorothy Marie Emilie Greville was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Algernon Fulke Charles Ferdinand Stephen Greville and Eileen Mary McDonnell.¹ She married Sir Joseph Henry Bernard Doughty-Tichborne, 13th Bt., son of Sir Henry Alfred Joseph Doughty-Tichborne, 12th Bt. and Mary Gwendoline Petre, on 25 June 1913.¹ She died on 24 August 1959.¹
     Her married name became Doughty-Tichborne.

     Lt.-Col. Henry Algernon Fulke Charles Ferdinand Stephen Greville was born on 30 May 1864.¹ He was the son of Brooke Greville and Emilie Anne Bouchez.¹ He married Eileen Mary McDonnell, daughter of Colonel Francis McDonnell, on 28 October 1891.¹ He died on 16 February 1937 at age 72.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 18th Hussars.¹ He gained the rank of Major and Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the City of London Yeomanry.¹

     Eileen Mary McDonnell was born on 12 October 1870. She was the daughter of Colonel Francis McDonnell.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Henry Algernon Fulke Charles Ferdinand Stephen Greville, son of Brooke Greville and Emilie Anne Bouchez, on 28 October 1891.¹ She died on 12 October 1940 at age 70.¹
     From 28 October 1891, her married name became Greville.
