     Vice-Admiral Edwin Ludlow Rich was born in 1794.¹ He was the son of Reverend Sir Charles Bostock Rich, 1st Bt. and Mary Frances Rich.¹ He married Sophia Letitia Josephine Angelo, daughter of Captain G. F. Angelo, on 6 July 1829.¹ He died on 25 July 1869.¹

     Sophia Letitia Josephine Angelo was the daughter of Captain G. F. Angelo.¹ She married Vice-Admiral Edwin Ludlow Rich, son of Reverend Sir Charles Bostock Rich, 1st Bt. and Mary Frances Rich, on 6 July 1829.¹ She died on 17 May 1882.¹
     From 6 July 1829, her married name became Rich.¹

     Captain G. F. Angelo lived at Hill, Southampton, Hampshire, England.¹

     Edwin Francis Rich was born on 19 September 1830.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Edwin Ludlow Rich and Sophia Letitia Josephine Angelo.¹ He married Elizabeth Richardson, daughter of Major Sir John L. C. Richardson.¹ He died in 1901.¹

     Elizabeth Richardson is the daughter of Major Sir John L. C. Richardson.¹ She married Edwin Francis Rich, son of Vice-Admiral Edwin Ludlow Rich and Sophia Letitia Josephine Angelo.¹
     Her married name became Rich.¹
