     From 22 July 1880, her married name became Gillespie.¹

     David Gillespie of Mountquhanie married Maria Katharine Bethune, daughter of Alexander Bethune of Blebo and Margaret Maxwell, on 22 July 1880.¹ He died on 13 April 1911.¹

     Marguerite Victoria Bethune was born on 12 December 1890.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Alexander Sharp Bethune of Scotscraig, 9th Bt. and Elizabeth Carnegie Maitland-Heriot.¹ She married Ernest Costley-White, son of Robert William Costley-White, on 10 April 1913.¹
     From 10 April 1913, her married name became Costley-White.¹

     Ernest Costley-White was the son of Robert William Costley-White.¹ He married Marguerite Victoria Bethune, daughter of Sir Alexander Sharp Bethune of Scotscraig, 9th Bt. and Elizabeth Carnegie Maitland-Heriot, on 10 April 1913.¹ He died on 11 August 1941.¹
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Chief Secretary, Zanzibar Government.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Major between 1916 and 1918 in the Nyasaland Frontier Force.¹

     Colin Robert Costley-White was born on 12 May 1914.¹ He is the son of Ernest Costley-White and Marguerite Victoria Bethune.¹ He married Joan Eleanor Wade, daughter of Bertram Henry Wade, on 10 January 1942.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.¹

     Joan Eleanor Wade is the daughter of Bertram Henry Wade.¹ She married Colin Robert Costley-White, son of Ernest Costley-White and Marguerite Victoria Bethune, on 10 January 1942.¹
     From 10 January 1942, her married name became Costley-White.¹
