Sir Joseph Benedict Everard Henry Radcliffe, 6th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Everard.3 He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1936 in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Bermuda between 1936 and 1939.1 He fought in the Second World War, he was held as a Prisoner of War (P.O.W.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for West Riding, Yorkshire in 1960.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Radcliffe, of Milnesbridge House, co. Yorkshire [U.K., 1813] on 23 November 1969.1
