     Hon. Irene Elizabeth-Ann Mason was born on 16 August 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Glyn Keith Murray Mason, 2nd Baron Blackford and Grace Ellinor Keen.¹ She married Lt.-Cdr. Godfrey Woodbine Parish, son of Clement Woodbine Parish and Elsie Mary Bonham Christie, on 11 April 1942.¹ She died on 7 November 1943 at age 24.¹
     She was with the Volunteary Aid Detachment during the Second World War.¹ From 11 April 1942, her married name became Parish.¹

     Sir Richard Mathias, 1st Bt. was born on 1 June 1863.¹ He was the son of John Mathias and Jane Davies.¹ He married Annie Hughes, daughter of Evan Hughes, on 18 July 1899.¹ He died on 26 October 1942 at age 79.¹
     He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1896 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Monmouthshire.¹ He was founder of the Cambrian Steam Navigation Company.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheltenham between 1910 and 1911.¹ He was appointed Knight on 1 January 1913.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Mathias, of Vaendre Hall, St. Mellons, co. Monmouth [U.K.] on 28 June 1917.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Monmouthshire in 1923.¹

     John Mathias was born on 17 January 1837.¹ He married Jane Davies, daughter of Richard Davies, on 6 June 1860.¹ He died on 11 April 1912 at age 75.¹
     He was founder of J. Mathias and Sons, shipowners.¹ He lived at Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire, Wales.¹

     Jane Davies was the daughter of Richard Davies.¹ She married John Mathias on 6 June 1860.¹ She died on 2 November 1896.¹
     From 6 June 1860, her married name became Mathias.¹

     Richard Davies lived at Llandadarn Fawr, Cardiganshire, Wales.¹

     Lewis James Mathias was born on 1 November 1861.¹ He was the son of John Mathias and Jane Davies.¹ He married Elsie Hooper, daughter of Edward Hooper, in April 1900.¹ He died on 24 October 1945 at age 83.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Cardiganshire Battalion, Royal Field Artillery.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Cardiganshire in 1922.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cardiganshire.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He lived at Brompadarn, Cardiganshire, Wales.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cardiganshire.¹

     Elsie Hooper was the daughter of Edward Hooper.¹ She married Lewis James Mathias, son of John Mathias and Jane Davies, in April 1900.¹ She died on 27 April 1921.¹
     From April 1900, her married name became Mathias.¹
