     Sir John de la Fontain Tyrwhitt, 6th Bt. was born on 6 March 1708.¹ He was the son of Sir John Tyrwhitt, 5th Bt. and Mary Drake.¹ He died on 22 August 1760 at age 52, unmarried.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincoln between 1741 and 1747.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Tyrwhitt, of Stainfield, co. Lincoln [E., 1611] in November 1741. He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire from 1750 to 1751.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Anne Saunderson is the daughter of Nicholas Saunderson, 1st Viscount Castleton. She married Sir Philip Tyrwhitt, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Edward Tyrwhitt, 2nd Bt..
     Her married name became Tyrwhitt.

     Sir Edward Tyrwhitt, 2nd Bt. was born in 1577.¹ He was the son of Sir Philip Tyrwhitt, 1st Bt. and Martha Thorold.¹ He married Faith St. Poll, daughter of Thomas St. Poll.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Chute, daughter of George Chute, in 1602.¹ He died on 4 March 1628.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincoln in 1604.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Tyrwhitt, of Stainfield, co. Lincoln [E., 1611] in 1624.

     Faith St. Poll is the daughter of Thomas St. Poll.¹ She married Sir Edward Tyrwhitt, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Philip Tyrwhitt, 1st Bt. and Martha Thorold.¹
     Her married name became Tyrwhitt.¹

     Thomas St. Poll lived at Snarford, England.¹

     Elizabeth Chute was the daughter of George Chute.¹ She married, firstly, Robert Fitzwilliam.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Edward Tyrwhitt, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Philip Tyrwhitt, 1st Bt. and Martha Thorold, in 1602.¹ She died in 1649.¹
     Her married name became Fitzwilliam.¹ From 1602, her married name became Tyrwhitt.¹

     George Chute lived at Bethersden, Kent, England.¹

     Robert Fitzwilliam married Elizabeth Chute, daughter of George Chute.¹
     He lived at Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, England.¹

     Philip Tyrwhitt was born circa 1510.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Tyrwhitt and Maud Talboys.¹ He married Margaret Barnaby, daughter of Edward Barnaby.¹ He died in November 1558.¹

     Margaret Barnaby is the daughter of Edward Barnaby.¹ She married Philip Tyrwhitt, son of Sir Robert Tyrwhitt and Maud Talboys.¹
     Her married name became Tyrwhitt.¹
