Sir John de la Fontain Tyrwhitt, 6th Bt.1 
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincoln between 1741 and 1747.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Tyrwhitt, of Stainfield, co. Lincoln [E., 1611] in November 1741. He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire from 1750 to 1751.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
