     Sir Gavin Fullarton James, 4th Bt. was born on 1 September 1859.¹ He was the son of Francis Edward James and Helen Donald Fullarton.¹ He died on 12 October 1937 at age 78, unmarried.¹
     He graduated from Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1883 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.² He succeeded as the 4th Baronet James, of the city of Dublin [U.K., 1823] on 11 February 1933.²

     Francis Edward James was born on 21 May 1861.¹ He was the son of Francis Edward James and Helen Donald Fullarton.¹ He died on 16 July 1932 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Sir Edward Albert James, 5th Bt. was born on 15 September 1862.¹ He was the son of Francis Edward James and Helen Donald Fullarton.¹ He died on 6 December 1942 at age 80, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet James, of the city of Dublin [U.K., 1823] on 12 October 1937.²

     Sir Fullarton James, 6th Bt. was born on 15 May 1864.¹ He was the son of Francis Edward James and Helen Donald Fullarton.¹ He married Helen Mary Hichens, daughter of John Knill Jope Hichens, on 6 April 1899.² He died on 19 July 1955 at age 91, without male issue.¹
     He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Scots Fusliers.² He was admitted to Gray’s Inn entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.² He was Chief Constable of Northumberland between 1900 and 1935.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1926.² He succeeded as the 6th Baronet James, of the city of Dublin [U.K., 1823] on 6 December 1942.²

     Herbert William James was born on 10 January 1873.¹ He was the son of Francis Edward James and Helen Donald Fullarton.¹ He died on 15 October 1945 at age 72, unmarried.¹

     Mary Anne Fullarton James was the daughter of Francis Edward James and Helen Donald Fullarton.¹ She died on 16 November 1942, unmarried.¹

     Helen Donald Fullarton James was the daughter of Francis Edward James and Helen Donald Fullarton.¹ She died on 26 March 1945, unmarried.¹

     Alice Charlotte Isabel James was the daughter of Francis Edward James and Helen Donald Fullarton.¹ She died on 15 April 1887, unmarried.¹

     Benjamin Robert James was born on 20 July 1820.¹ He was the son of Sir John Kingston James, 1st Bt. and Charlotte Rebecca Cash.¹ He married Margaret Steuart, daughter of John Steuart, in 1869.¹ He died in 1895, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Paymaster in the 2nd Battalion, military train, Hong Kong and 24th Foot.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the City of Dublin Militia.¹

     Margaret Steuart was the daughter of John Steuart.¹ She married Benjamin Robert James, son of Sir John Kingston James, 1st Bt. and Charlotte Rebecca Cash, in 1869.¹ She died in 1884.¹
     From 1869, her married name became James.¹
