     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was appointed Knight on 22 February 1854.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet James, of the city of Dublin [U.K., 1823] on 28 January 1869.²

     Sir John Kingston James, 3rd Bt. was born on 1 December 1852.¹ He was the son of Francis Edward James and Helen Donald Fullarton.¹ He died on 11 February 1933 at age 80, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet James, of the city of Dublin [U.K., 1823] on 23 May 1893.²
