     John Howard was born circa 1616.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Howard. He married Dorothea Hasells, daughter of Robert Hasells, in 1636.¹ He died in 1643.¹

     Dorothea Hasells is the daughter of Robert Hasells.¹ She married, secondly, Robert Hasells.¹ She married, firstly, John Howard, son of Sir Charles Howard, in 1636.¹
     From 1636, her married name became Howard.¹

     Robert Hasells married Dorothea Hasells, daughter of Robert Hasells.¹ He died on 30 December 1684.¹ He was buried at Kilbride, County Wicklow, Ireland.¹
     He was owner of Shelton.¹

     Katherine Sotheby was the daughter of Roger Sotheby.¹ She married Ralph Howard, son of John Howard and Dorothea Hasells, on 16 July 1668.¹ She died in 1720.¹
     From 16 July 1668, her married name became Howard.¹

     Roger Sotheby held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wicklow.¹

     Hugh Howard was baptised on 16 February 1675.¹ He was the son of Ralph Howard and Katherine Sotheby.¹ He married Thomasine Langston, daughter of General Thomas Langston, in 1714.¹ He died in March 1738 at age 63, withou issue.¹
     He was Keeper of the State Papers at Whitehall in 1714.¹ He was Paymaster of the Board of Works in 1726.¹ He lived at Shelton Abbey, North Arklow, County Wicklow, Ireland.¹

     Thomasine Langston is the daughter of General Thomas Langston.¹ She married Hugh Howard, son of Ralph Howard and Katherine Sotheby, in 1714.¹
     From 1714, her married name became Howard.¹

     Rt. Hon. Henry Singleton is the son of Edward Singleton and Catherine Newton.¹
     He held the office of Lord Chief Justice of the Common Pleas.¹
