     Maria Gresley was the daughter of Reverend William Gresley and Mary Thorp.¹ She died on 16 May 1904, unmarried.¹

     Caroline Anne Gresley was the daughter of Reverend William Gresley and Anne White Scott.¹

     Mary Elizabeth Gresley is the daughter of Reverend William Gresley and Anne White Scott.¹

     Mary Thorp was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Thorp.¹ She married, firstly, Russell Kendal before 1848.¹ She married, secondly, Major Francis Gresley, son of Richard Gresley and Caroline Grote, on 19 September 1848.¹ She died on 10 August 1894.¹
     From before 1848, her married name became Kendal.¹ From 19 September 1848, her married name became Gresley.¹
