     Pedro Pablo Dartnell Encina was born on 24 December 1873.² He was the son of Robert Loder Dartnell and Carmen Encina Ibáñez.^1,2 He died on 26 September 1944 at age 70 at Santiago, Chile.²
     He was educated at Universidad de Chile, Santiago, Chile.² He fought in the Chilean Civil War in 1891.² He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in 1891 in the Chilean Army.¹ He was Major of the Military Engineers, Chilean Army in January 1900.² He was Director-General of the Chilean Air Force in 1919.² He was a member of the Government Junta in 1925 at Chile.¹

     Maria Rosa Isabel Ramona Dartnell Guise was born in 1849.¹ She was the daughter of John Loder Dartnell and Maria Mercedes Carlota Guisee Valle Riestra.¹ She married Manuel Chávez Moreyra.² She died in 1903.¹

     Maria Luisa Dartnell Guise was born in 1851.¹ She was the daughter of John Loder Dartnell and Maria Mercedes Carlota Guisee Valle Riestra.¹ She died in 1931.¹

     Georgina Juana Maria de las Mercedes Dartnell Guise was born in 1861.¹ She was the daughter of John Loder Dartnell and Maria Mercedes Carlota Guisee Valle Riestra.¹

     Jorge Antonio Chávez Dartnell was born on 13 January 1887 at Paris, France.² He was the son of Manuel Chávez Moreyra and Maria Rosa Isabel Ramona Dartnell Guise.^1,2 He died on 27 September 1910 at age 23 at Domodossola, Italy, killed when landing his Bleriot monoplane after crossing the Pennine Alps.²
     He was educated in 1908 at Ecole d’Electricité et de Mécanique Industrielles de Paris, Paris, France, engineering degree.² On 28 February 1910 he received his pilots licence.²

     Manuel Chávez Moreyra married Maria Rosa Isabel Ramona Dartnell Guise, daughter of John Loder Dartnell and Maria Mercedes Carlota Guisee Valle Riestra.¹

     Carmen Encina Ibáñez married Robert Loder Dartnell, son of Edward Russell Dartnell and Mary Loder.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Valentine Blomfield was born on 29 March 1898 at Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He was the son of Frederick Charles Blomfield and Muriel Granville.¹ He married Gladys Edith Lang, daughter of Colonel Arthur Moffat Lang and Edith Mina Lang.¹ He died on 11 January 1980 at age 81 at Basingstoke, Hampshire, England.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1947.¹
