     Vice-Admiral Martin George Guise was born on 12 March 1780.1 He was the son of Sir John Guise, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Wright.2 He married Dona Juana Maria del Valle Riestra in 1827.1 He died in 1828 at PeruG, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in the Peruvian Navy.1 He fought in the Peruvian War of Liberation.1
