     Sir Evelyn Ward Evans, 3rd Bt. was born on 4 March 1883.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Henry Evans, 1st Bt. and Marie de Grasse Stevens.¹ He married Primrose Mary Brown, daughter of James Wyld Brown, on 31 July 1909.¹ He died on 1 February 1970 at age 86.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1905 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was registered as a AMICE.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1919.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Evans, of Tubbendens, Kent [U.K., 1902] on 28 June 1946.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹
