     Bessie Scriven Dawson was born on 11 March 1911.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Benjamin Dawson, 1st Bt. and Annie Ellen Saville.¹ She married Peter Rowntree, son of Benjamin Seebohm Rowntree, on 23 July 1931.¹ She died on 5 February 1942 at age 30.¹

     Peter Rowntree is the son of Benjamin Seebohm Rowntree.¹ He married Bessie Scriven Dawson, daughter of Sir Benjamin Dawson, 1st Bt. and Annie Ellen Saville, on 23 July 1931.¹

     Benjamin Seebohm Rowntree lived at The Homestead, York, Yorkshire, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was appointed Companion of Honour (C.H.)¹

     Sir Lawrence Saville Dawson, 2nd Bt. was born on 15 January 1908.¹ He was the son of Sir Benjamin Dawson, 1st Bt. and Annie Ellen Saville.¹ He died in 1974.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dawson, of Appleton Roebuck, co. York [U.K., 1929] on 19 September 1966.¹

     Charles Smith was born on 3 September 1847.¹ He married Ethel Ralfe, daughter of James Delacourt Ralfe, in 1911.¹ He died in 1928.¹
