Rt. Rev. Ernest Urban Trevor Huddleston was born on 15 June 1913.2 He was the son of Ernest Whiteside Huddleston.1 He died on 20 April 1998 at age 84.2
He held the office of Bishop of Stepney.2 He was educated between 1927 and 1931 at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, England.2 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was educated at Wells Theological College, Wells, Somerset, EnglandG.2 He was priest between 1943 and 1956 at Sophiatown, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa.2 He wrote the book Naught for Your Comfort, published 1960.2 He held the office of Bishop of Mauritius between 1978 and 1984.2 He held the office of Archbishop of the Province of the Indian Ocean.2 He wrote the book Return to South Africa: The Ecstasy and the Agony, published 1992.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1998.2
