     Edith Cockburn Ewart was the daughter of James Kerr Ewart.¹ She married Edmund William Cope, son of Sir William Henry Cope, 12th Bt. and Marianne Garnett, on 16 September 1863.¹ She died on 12 June 1910.¹
     From 16 September 1863, her married name became Cope.¹

     James Kerr Ewart was with the Bengal Civil Service.¹
