     John Hunter was born on 13 February 1728 at Long Calderwood, East Kilbride, Scotland.¹ He married Anne Home, daughter of Robert Byrne Home and Mary Hutchinson, in July 1771.¹ He died on 16 October 1793 at age 65 at London, England.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1767.¹ He wrote the book The Anatomy of the Gravid Uterus Exhibited in Figures, published 1774.¹ He was Surgeon to King George III.¹ He was awarded the Copley Medal in 1787.¹ He held the office of Surgeon-General in March 1790.¹

     Anne Home was born on 13 March 1742 at County Waterford, Ireland.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Byrne Home and Mary Hutchinson.¹ She married John Hunter in July 1771.¹ She died on 7 January 1821 at age 78 at London, England.¹
     She was a poet.¹ From July 1771, her married name became Hunter.¹

     Sir James Campbell of Killean, 2nd of Inverneill was born on 16 January 1737 at Tuerechan, Perthshire, Scotland.^1,2 He was the son of James Campbell, 8th of Tearlach, 3rd of Tuerechan and Elizabeth Fisher.² He married Jean Campbell, daughter of John Campbell of Askomi, on 16 July 1761 at Argyllshire, Scotland.^1,2 He died on 16 March 1805 at age 68.^1,2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the Stirling Burghs.¹ He held the office of Heritable Usher of the White Rod for Scotland in 1790.¹ He held the position of 9th Chief of Clan Tearlach from in 1791.¹

     Jean Campbell was born on 12 August 1740 at Askomil, Argyllshire, Scotland.² She was the daughter of John Campbell of Askomi.¹ She married Sir James Campbell of Killean, 2nd of Inverneill, son of James Campbell, 8th of Tearlach, 3rd of Tuerechan and Elizabeth Fisher, on 16 July 1761 at Argyllshire, Scotland.^1,2 She died in 1805.¹

     Jane Campbell was baptised on 27 June 1771 at Inverneill, Argyllshire, Scotland.^1,2 She was the daughter of Sir James Campbell of Killean, 2nd of Inverneill and Jean Campbell.¹ She married, firstly, Edward Addison on 29 April 1788.¹ She and Edward Addison were divorced in 1801.¹ She married, secondly, Roger Pocklington on 2 February 1802.¹ She died on 27 February 1851 at age 79.¹
     From 29 April 1788, her married name became Addison.¹ From 2 February 1802, her married name became Pocklington.¹

     Edward Addison married Jane Campbell, daughter of Sir James Campbell of Killean, 2nd of Inverneill and Jean Campbell, on 29 April 1788.¹ He and Jane Campbell were divorced in 1801.¹

     Roger Pocklington married Jane Campbell, daughter of Sir James Campbell of Killean, 2nd of Inverneill and Jean Campbell, on 2 February 1802.¹

     Jessie Campbell was born on 16 June 1767 at Inverary, Argyllshire, India.² She was the daughter of Sir James Campbell of Killean, 2nd of Inverneill and Jean Campbell.¹ She married Dr. James Campbell.¹ She and Dr. James Campbell were divorced in 1801.¹

     Dr. James Campbell married Jessie Campbell, daughter of Sir James Campbell of Killean, 2nd of Inverneill and Jean Campbell.¹ He and Jessie Campbell were divorced in 1801.¹
     He was a surgeon at Calcutta, India.¹
