     Mary Bankes married, firstly, unknown Thorpe.1 She married, secondly, Maj.-Gen. Charles Calvert, 3rd Baron Baltimore, son of Cecil Calvert, 2nd Baron Baltimore and Hon. Anne Arundell, between 1701 and 1710.1 She died circa March 1710/11.1 She was buried on 17 March 1710/11 at St. Gile’s-in-the-Fields Church, London, EnglandG.1
     Her married name became Thorpe.1 From between 1701 and 1710, her married name became Calvert.1 After her marriage, Mary Bankes was styled as Baroness Baltimore.
