     George Calvert, 1st Baron Baltimore was born in 1578/79 at Kipling, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Leonard Calvert and Alice Grace Crossland.¹ He married, firstly, Anne Mynne, daughter of George Mynne and Elizabeth Wroth, on 22 November 1604 at St. Peter’s, Cornhill, Banffshire, Scotland^G.¹ He married, secondly, Joan (?) before 1627.¹ He died on 15 April 1632.¹ He was buried at St. Dunstan’s-in-the-West Church, London, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 21 April 1632.¹
