     Hugh Francis Lister Coltman was born on 12 February 1908.¹ He was the son of Major William Hew Coltman of Daljarroch and Blair and Grace Hamilton.¹ He married Enid Wilhemina Somerville McAlester, daughter of William Henry Somerville McAlester and Enid Evelyn Marie Stuart Wilkins, on 23 February 1935.¹

     Viola Henrietta Christina Stirling was born on 3 June 1907.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Stirling of Gargunnock and Evelyn Mary Saffery.¹ She died on 2 February 1989 at age 81, unmarried.¹
