     Charles Godfrey Somerville McAlester was born on 22 September 1948 at Rangoon, Burma.¹ He is the son of Colonel Charles Godfrey Somerville McAlester of Loup and Kennox and Alma Clarice Gomes.²
     On 25 October 1988 by deed of nomination and appointment he nominated half-brother Chief of the Name and Arms.¹

     Colonel Charles Godfrey Somerville McAlester of Loup and Kennox was the son of William Henry Somerville McAlester and Enid Evelyn Marie Stuart Wilkins.² He married, firstly, Alma Clarice Gomes, daughter of Augusta Gomes, on 25 October 1947.¹ He married, secondly, Pamela May Hodson, daughter of St. John Hodson, on 5 December 1954.¹ He died in 1984.¹
     He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) Greece.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the King’s Own Scottish Borderers.¹

     Pamela May Hodson is the daughter of St. John Hodson.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel Charles Godfrey Somerville McAlester of Loup and Kennox, son of William Henry Somerville McAlester and Enid Evelyn Marie Stuart Wilkins, on 5 December 1954.¹
     Her married name became Chater.¹ From 5 December 1954, her married name became McAlester.

     Colonel Angus James Jervis Somerville McAlester was born on 10 September 1907.¹ He was the son of William Henry Somerville McAlester and Enid Evelyn Marie Stuart Wilkins.² He married Joan Dorothy Penny on 10 October 1936.³ He died on 26 June 1990 at age 82.³
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) and bar.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders.¹

     Joan Dorothy Penny married Colonel Angus James Jervis Somerville McAlester, son of William Henry Somerville McAlester and Enid Evelyn Marie Stuart Wilkins, on 10 October 1936.¹
     From 10 October 1936, her married name became McAlester.

     Ian McAlester is the son of Colonel Angus James Jervis Somerville McAlester and Joan Dorothy Penny.²

     Mary McAlester is the daughter of Colonel Angus James Jervis Somerville McAlester and Joan Dorothy Penny.²

     Enid Wilhemina Somerville McAlester was born on 16 October 1910.² She was the daughter of William Henry Somerville McAlester and Enid Evelyn Marie Stuart Wilkins.³ She married Charles Copland.¹ She married Hugh Francis Lister Coltman, son of Major William Hew Coltman of Daljarroch and Blair and Grace Hamilton, on 23 February 1935.² She died on 21 September 1995 at age 84.²
     Her married name became Copland. From 23 February 1935, her married name became Coltman.²

     Charles Copland married Enid Wilhemina Somerville McAlester, daughter of William Henry Somerville McAlester and Enid Evelyn Marie Stuart Wilkins.¹

     Violet Wilhemina Somerville McAlester is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Somerville McAlester of Loup and Kennox and Williamina Pollock Morris.² She married Reverend Alexander Copland in 1903.¹
     From 1903, her married name became Copland.
