     John Steuart, 6th of Cardney and 4th of Antullie was the son of George Stewart, 5th of Cardney and 3rd of Antullie and Margaret Stewart.¹ He married Barbara Hay, daughter of William Hay of Gourdie, in 1589.¹ He died in 1639.¹

     Margaret Leslie was the daughter of George Leslie of Balgonie and Margaret Stewart.¹ She died after 1647.¹
