     John Stewart, 9th of Bonskeid was baptised on 2 May 1738 at Blair Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of John Stewart, younger of Bonskeid and Isabel Stewart.1 He married Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of Robert Stewart, 8th of Fincastle and Margaret Balneaves.1 He died on 20 October 1767 at age 29.1
