     Pamela-Jane Chafer is the daughter of Charles L. Chafer.¹ She married Ian Walter Farquhar, son of Sir Peter Walter Farquhar, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Evelyn Hurt, on 18 November 1972.¹ She and Ian Walter Farquhar were divorced in 1992.²

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Staffordshire Yeomanry.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) and bar.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire in 1962.¹

     Dorothy Nancy Johnson was the daughter of Major James Gerald Thewlis Johnson.¹ She married Charles Richard Farquhar, son of Sir Walter Randolph FitzRoy Farquhar, 5th Bt. and Violet Maud Corkran, on 7 October 1939.¹ She died on 14 June 1997.¹
     Dorothy Nancy Johnson usually went by her middle name of Nancy.¹ Her married name became Farquhar.

     Major James Gerald Thewlis Johnson was born in 1886.² He was the son of John Thewlis Johnson. He married Dorothy Babington Jessop, daughter of William de Burgh Jessop and Judith Alleyne.² He died in 1954.²
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He lived at Foston, Derbyshire, England^G.¹
