     From 22 January 1940, her married name became Marsham-Townshend. From 8 August 1945, her married name became Clarke.

     Major Lewis Frederick Innes Loyd died before 1963.

     Colonel John Robert Stephenson Clarke was the son of Edmund Stephenson Clarke.¹ He married Averil Innes Loyd, daughter of Major Lewis Frederick Innes Loyd, on 8 August 1945.¹ He died in 1993.¹

Mark Richard Norman, on 18 June 1962.⁴ She married, secondly, Sir Ian Niall Rankin, 4th Bt., son of Arthur Niall Talbot Rankin and Lady Jean Margaret Florence Dalrymple, in 1980.⁴ She and Sir Ian Niall Rankin, 4th Bt. were divorced in 1998.⁴
