     Mary Ann Pine married Robert Stirling, son of Sir John Stirling, 5th Bt. and Gloriana Folsome, in 1820.¹ She died in 1832.¹
     From 1820, her married name became Stirling.¹

     Marjorie Purves was born in 1640. She was the daughter of Sir William Purves, 1st Bt. and Margery Fleming.¹ She married Sir George Stirling, 1st Bt., son of Sir Mungo Stirling, 5th of Glorat and Margaret Hamilton, on 16 February 1661.¹
     From 16 February 1661, her married name became Stirling.

     Sir Mungo Stirling, 5th of Glorat was born circa 1600.² He was the son of John Stirling, 4th of Glorat and Annabella Graham.² He married Margaret Hamilton on 11 August 1614.²

     John Stirling, 4th of Glorat was born circa 1575.² He was the son of John Stirling, 3rd of Glorat and Annabella Edmonstone.² He married Annabella Graham on 28 September 1604.²

     John Stirling, 3rd of Glorat was born in 1540.² He was the son of George Stirling, 2nd of Glorat and Margaret Buchanan.² He married Annabella Edmonstone, daughter of Sir William Edmonstone, 5th of Duntreath and Margaret Campbell, between 1565 and 1570.² He died before 18 May 1613.²

     George Stirling, 2nd of Glorat was born in 1510.² He was the son of William Stirling, 1st of Glorat and Mariota Brisbane.² He married Margaret Buchanan before 6 August 1544.² He died after 10 September 1547, from his wounds.³
     He held the office of Keeper of Dumbarton Castle between 1534 and 1547, holding it for Mary, Queen of Scots against repeated assaults.³ He fought in the Battle of Pinkie on 10 September 1547.³

     William Stirling, 1st of Glorat was born in 1480.² He was the son of Sir John Stirling, 3rd of Cragbernard and Margaret Abernethy.² He married Mariota Brisbane before 20 April 1517.² He died on 3 April 1534, murdered.³
     On 10 October 1508 he was granted the lands of Glorat, by charter from Matthew, Earl of Lennox.³ He held the office of Keeper of Dumbarton Castle.³ He held the office of Sheriff of Dumbarton in 1531.³

     Sir John Stirling, 3rd of Cragbernard was the son of John de Striveling, 2nd of Cragbernard.¹ He married Margaret Abernethy, daughter of James Abernethy, 3rd Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and unknown wife (?).² He died before 3 August 1510.¹
     He held the office of Governor of Dumbarton.³ He held the office of Sheriff of Dumbarton.³

     John de Striveling, 2nd of Cragbernard was born in 1455.¹ He was the son of Gilbert de Striveling, 1st of Cragbernard and unknown daughter (?)^1,2 He died on 26 July 1497.¹

     Margaret Hamilton married Sir Mungo Stirling, 5th of Glorat, son of John Stirling, 4th of Glorat and Annabella Graham, on 11 August 1614.¹
     From 11 August 1614, her married name became Stirling.¹
