Rachel Mary Agar-Robartes, daughter of Arthur Victor Agar-Robartes, 8th Viscount Clifden of Gowran and Patience Mary Basset, on 8 March 1941 at Abbey, Bath, Somerset, England.¹ He died in 1998 at Chiltern, Buckinghamshire, England.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹
