     Joan Mary Louise Mowat was born in 1923. She is the daughter of Sir Alfred Law Mowat, 2nd Bt.¹ She married Michael Norman Shaw, Baron Shaw of Northstead, son of Norman Shaw, in 1952.¹
     From 1952, her married name became Shaw.¹

     Sir Alfred Law Mowat, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir John Gunn Mowat, 1st Bt. He died in 1968.
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Mowat, of Cleckheaton in the West Riding of the County of York [U.K., 1932]. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ On his death his baronetcy became extinct.

     Hon. Charles Michael Mowat Shaw was born in 1952.¹ He is the son of Michael Norman Shaw, Baron Shaw of Northstead and Joan Mary Louise Mowat.¹

     Hon. James William Shaw was born in 1955.¹ He is the son of Michael Norman Shaw, Baron Shaw of Northstead and Joan Mary Louise Mowat.¹

     Hon. Jonathan David Shaw was born in 1957.¹ He is the son of Michael Norman Shaw, Baron Shaw of Northstead and Joan Mary Louise Mowat.¹

     Elizabeth Wray was the daughter of Sir William Wray, 1st Bt.¹ She married Sir Francis Foljambe, 1st Bt. on 21 October 1614.¹ She died in April 1638.¹
     From 21 October 1614, her married name became Foljambe.¹

     Catherine Charlotte Deacon was born in 1832 at Mabledon Park, Tonbridge, Kent, England.¹ She was the daughter of John Deacon and Sophia Collett.¹ She married Reverend Henry Anthony Hammond on 3 January 1861 at Church of St. Peter, Southborough, Kent, England.¹ She died on 14 November 1899 at Sundridge House, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England.¹
     From 3 January 1861, her married name became Hammond.¹

     Reverend Henry Anthony Hammond was born on 12 June 1829.¹ He married Catherine Charlotte Deacon, daughter of John Deacon and Sophia Collett, on 3 January 1861 at Church of St. Peter, Southborough, Kent, England.¹ He died after 1861.¹
