     She gained the rank of Section Officer in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force, during the Second World War.¹ From 28 September 1943, her married name became Riddick.¹

     John Julian Riddick was the son of Colonel John Galloway Riddick.¹ He married, secondly, Ruth Milson.¹ He married, firstly, Cecilia Margaret Ruggles-Brise, daughter of Colonel Sir Edward Archibald Ruggles-Brise, 1st Bt. and Agatha Gurney, on 28 September 1943.¹ He died on 13 January 1997.¹
