     Major Thomas William Edward Coke, 5th Earl of Leicester of Holkham was born on 16 May 1908.¹ He was the son of Thomas William Coke, 4th Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Marion Gertrude Trefusis.¹ He married Lady Elizabeth Mary Yorke, daughter of Charles Alexander Yorke, 8th Earl of Hardwicke and Ellen Russell, on 1 October 1931.² He died on 3 September 1976 at age 68.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was Equerry to HRH the Duke of York between 1934 and 1937.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1937.¹ He held the office of Extra Equerry to HM King George VI between 1937 and 1952.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Commander-in-Chief, Middle East in 1941.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk in 1944.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Coke [U.K., 1837] on 21 August 1949.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Leicester of Holkham, co. Norfolk [U.K., 1837] on 21 August 1949.¹ He held the office of Extra Equerry to HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1952.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 1st Cadet Battalion, Royal Norfolk Regiment.¹ He was awarded the Royal Order of George I of Greece in 1963.¹

     Bryan Ronald Basset was born in 1932.¹ He was the son of Ronald Lambert Basset and Lady Elizabeth Legge.¹ He married Lady Carey Elizabeth Coke, daughter of Major Thomas William Edward Coke, 5th Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Lady Elizabeth Mary Yorke, on 30 April 1960.¹ He died on 8 November 2010.²
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Quarles, Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Lady Carey Elizabeth Coke was born on 5 May 1934.² She was the daughter of Major Thomas William Edward Coke, 5th Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Lady Elizabeth Mary Yorke.^1,2 She married Bryan Ronald Basset, son of Ronald Lambert Basset and Lady Elizabeth Legge, on 30 April 1960.¹ She died on 14 May 2018 at age 84.³
     Her married name became Basset. She lived in 2003 at Quarles, Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, England^G.²

     Lady Sarah Marion Coke was born on 23 July 1944.¹ She is the daughter of Major Thomas William Edward Coke, 5th Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Lady Elizabeth Mary Yorke.¹ She married Major David Finlayson Wylie-Hill Walter, son of Reginald Walter, on 27 June 1970 at St. Withburga’s, Holkham, Norfolk, England.^1,2
     From 27 June 1970, her married name became Walter. She lived in 2003 at Westwood, Balthayock, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹

     David Francis Basset was born on 21 December 1961.¹ He was the son of Bryan Ronald Basset and Lady Carey Elizabeth Coke.¹ He died circa December 2010 at France.²

     Michael James Basset was born on 30 July 1963.¹ He is the son of Bryan Ronald Basset and Lady Carey Elizabeth Coke.¹ He married Caroline Bailey, daughter of Philip Bailey, on 7 September 1996.¹

     James Bryan Basset was born on 3 April 1968.¹ He is the son of Bryan Ronald Basset and Lady Carey Elizabeth Coke.¹
     He held the office of Page of Honour to HM Queen Elizabeth II.¹

     Hon. David Arthur Coke was born on 4 December 1915.¹ He was the son of Thomas William Coke, 4th Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Marion Gertrude Trefusis.¹ He died on 9 December 1941 at age 26 at Libya^G, killed in action on air operations.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated in 1937 at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in 1939 in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)¹

     Hon. Angela Mary Coke was born on 6 November 1906.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas William Coke, 4th Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Marion Gertrude Trefusis.¹ She died in December 1906.¹

     Lady Silvia Beatrice Coke was born on 19 October 1909.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas William Coke, 4th Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Marion Gertrude Trefusis.¹ She married Captain Simon Harvey Combe, son of Major Boyce Combe and Mabel Katherine Tombs, on 15 October 1932.¹ She died in October 2005.²
     Her married name became Combe. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk in 1950.¹ She lived in 2003 at The Manor House, Burnham Thorpe, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, England^G.¹
