     Duncan Forbes, 3rd of Culloden was born on 2 March 1644 at Culloden, Inverness-shire, Scotland.1 He was the son of John Forbes, 2nd of Culloden and Anne Dunbar.1 He married Marie Innes, daughter of Sir Robert Innes of that Ilk, 2nd Bt. and Jean Ross, in 1668.1 He died on 20 June 1704 at age 60.1
