     Sir Stewart Gore-Browne was born in 1883.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Gore-Browne and Helenora Shaw-Stewart.1 He married Lorna Grace Goldmann, daughter of Edwin Ellen Goldmann and Lorna Lawrence Bosworth Smith, in July 1927.1 He and Lorna Grace Goldmann were divorced in 1950.1 He died in 1967.1
     He lived at Shiwa Ngandu, Zimbabwe.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council [Northern Rhodesia] in 1935.1
