     Walter Norton was born in 1849 at Ramsgate, Essex, England.¹ He was the son of William Norton and Esther Reeve.¹ He married Hannah Dunn in 1881 at Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.¹ He died in 1934 at Victoria Promenade, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.¹

     Hannah Dunn was born in 1851 at Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.¹ She married Walter Norton, son of William Norton and Esther Reeve, in 1881 at Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.¹
     From 1881, her married name became Norton.¹

     Robert John Jocelyn, 10th Earl of Roden was born on 25 August 1938.¹ He is the son of Robert William Jocelyn, 9th Earl of Roden and Clodagh Rose Kennedy.¹ He married, firstly, Sara Cecilia Dunlop, daughter of Brigadier Andrew Dunlop, on 10 June 1970.¹ He and Sara Cecilia Dunlop were divorced in 1982.¹ He married, secondly, Ann Margareta Maria Henning, daughter of Dr. Gunnar Albert Philip Henning, on 13 February 1986.¹
     He succeeded as the 11th Viscount Jocelyn [I., 1755] in 1993.² He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Roden, of High Roding, co. Tipperary [I., 1771] in 1993.² He succeeded as the 11th Baron Newport of Newport, co. Tipperary [I., 1743] in 1993.² He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Jocelyn, of Hyde Hall, co. Herts [E., 1665] in 1993.² He lived in 2003 at Doon House, Cashel, County Galway, Ireland.¹

     William Henry Jocelyn, 6th Earl of Roden was born on 5 November 1842.¹ He was the son of Hon. John Jocelyn and Emily Thompson.¹ He died on 23 January 1910 at age 67, unmarried.¹
     He retired from the military in 1892, with the rank of Captain, late of the Royal Navy.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Jocelyn, of Hyde Hall, co. Herts [E., 1665] on 3 July 1897.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Roden, of High Roding, co. Tipperary [I., 1771] on 3 July 1897.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Jocelyn [I., 1755] on 3 July 1897.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron Newport of Newport, co. Tipperary [I., 1743] on 3 July 1897.¹

     Mary Conyers was the daughter of Tristram Conyers.² She married Sir Strange Jocelyn, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Robert Jocelyn, 1st Bt. and Jane Strange, in 1686.¹ She died on 19 May 1731.¹
     From 1686, her married name became Jocelyn.¹

     Sir John Jocelyn, 3rd Bt. was baptised on 4 October 1689.¹ He was the son of Sir Strange Jocelyn, 2nd Bt. and Mary Conyers.¹ He died on 1 November 1741 at age 52, unmarried.¹
     He was a practising barister.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Jocelyn, of Hyde Hall, co. Herts [E., 1665] on 3 September 1734.¹

     Sir Conyers Jocelyn, 4th Bt. was baptised on 19 July 1703.¹ He was the son of Sir Strange Jocelyn, 2nd Bt. and Mary Conyers.¹ He died on 24 May 1778 at age 74, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Jocelyn, of Hyde Hall, co. Herts [E., 1665] on 1 November 1741.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1745.¹
