     Major unknown White married Catherine Anne Griffith, daughter of John Griffith, before 1818.¹ He died before 1818.¹

     Helen Catharine Douglas was born in 1819.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral John Erskine Douglas and Catherine Anne Griffith.¹ She married Lt.-Gen. Colin Mackenzie on 21 November 1843.¹ She died on 31 March 1910.¹
     From 21 November 1843, her married name became Mackenzie.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Colin Mackenzie married Helen Catharine Douglas, daughter of Admiral John Erskine Douglas and Catherine Anne Griffith, on 21 November 1843.¹ He died in 1881.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Madras Service.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Louisa Douglas was born in 1821.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral John Erskine Douglas and Catherine Anne Griffith.¹ She died in 1890, unmarried.¹

     Archibald Douglas was the son of James Douglas and Philadelphia Johnstone.¹ He died, without issue.¹

     Philadelphia Douglas is the daughter of James Douglas and Philadelphia Johnstone.¹ She married Robert McMurdo of Dumgans.¹
     Her married name became McMurdo.¹

     Robert McMurdo of Dumgans married Philadelphia Douglas, daughter of James Douglas and Philadelphia Johnstone.¹

     William Douglas was the son of James Douglas.¹ He died, without issue.¹
     He lived at Bodsbeck, Scotland.¹
