     Charles Gordon Douglas-Irvine was born on 14 April 1885.¹ He was the son of Walter Douglas-Irvine and Anne Frances Lloyd.¹ He died on 17 February 1946 at age 60, unmarried.¹

     Edward Percy Douglas was born on 26 November 1886.¹ He was the son of Walter Douglas-Irvine and Anne Frances Lloyd.¹ He married, firstly, Alice Margaret Douglas, daughter of Sir John Douglas and Alice Ann Claughton, on 11 October 1918.¹ He married, secondly, Alice Audrey Sharman after 1931.² He and Alice Audrey Sharman were divorced in 1949.² He married, thirdly, Hester Vivian Claude, daughter of Frederick Claude, in April 1949.²
     He was given the name of Edward Percy Douglas-Irvine at birth.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Cpaptain in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Pioneer Corps.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ In 1919 his name was legally changed to Edward Percy Douglas.¹
