     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Rich, of Sonning, co. Berks [E., 1661] on 9 November 1724.2

     Sir Robert Rich, 3rd Bt. was born in 1673.2 He was the son of Sir William Rich, 2nd Bt. and Lady Anne Bruce.1,3 He married Mary Walter, daughter of Sir William Walter, 2nd Bt. and Lady Mary Tufton, in 1698 at St. Antholin, London, England.1,2 He died on 9 November 1724.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Rich, of Sonning, co. Berks [E., 1661] in 1711.1
